Jennifer Headshot 1

Jennifer brings compassion and an open heart to her position as Family Support Advocate and Peer Recovery Coach. Her experience in the recovery community has uniquely prepared her for this role – and for this, she is very grateful. For many years, Jennifer has served as a volunteer Pastoral Care Associate in her faith community, which strengthened her gifts and skills in accompanying others during overwhelming, painful times. She has also spent time as a hospice volunteer, where she was trained to gently keep vigil with individuals transitioning from this life. Jennifer is a trained reiki practitioner and holds a graduate certificate in Spiritual Direction from Moravian Theological Seminary, accompanying individuals, including those in the recovery community, as a Spiritual Companion. Jennifer has pursued her love of learning throughout her life, earning three Master’s Degrees in Human Development, Library and Information Science, and most recently Theological Studies. Jennifer stepped away from her Academic Librarian positions when her children were small, to embark with her husband on the journey of rearing five children. Today she enjoys traveling, camping, spending time outdoors and loving on her small menagerie of cats, dogs, rabbits and donkeys!
